The wife of the president, Aisha Buhari, has called on governors of all states to establish children’s parliament that would prepare them as future leaders.
PM News reports that Mrs Buhari made the call on Monday, November 2, in Abuja at the inauguration of the 4th Assembly of FCT Children Parliament. She was represented at the event by Alayingi Sylva, the wife of the ex-governor of Bayelsa state, Timipre Sylva.
According to Mrs Buhari, the establishment of children’s parliament is necessary because it would provide a platform for the children to participate in national development and give a voice to the youths.
