Man Takes His Chances As He Proposes To His Girlfriend In The Middle Of A Highway

A young man's marriage proposal to his girlfriend in the middle of a Texas freeway has been heavily criticized for being 'selfish' and 'idiotic', according to online users. The man identified as Vidal Valladares Navas of Houston asked his girlfriend Michelle Wycoff, 23, to marry him in the middle of the highway -as they were surrounded by several friends and family members. 
According to a video posted online, the proposal seemed to have been happened at a busy time of the day as the freeway appeared jam packed with cars containing increasingly annoyed drivers - who eventually drown out Vidal's proposal with a chorus of car horns. He just said he wanted his own to be different, on asked why he did that.
