Forget keeping up with the Kardashians — we can’t keep up with Kylie Jenner and Tyga!
One week, the two are hot and heavy and sparking engagement rumors, and now we hear they’re officially broken up! What the heck happened there?
While we don’t know specifics yet, sources tell TMZ the split was both unexpected and nasty. Apparently, it all comes down to “something Tyga did,” causing Kylie to call it quits with her boyfriend of over a year on Thursday, after returning from Australia.
Meanwhile, E! News sources say Tyga denies doing anything wrong and he's trying to win her back.
"They are on a break," the insider states. "They were just a week or so ago talking about ‘ever after' and things got messy this past week. Kylie wants time to just be by her self and do her."
Whatever Tyga’s indiscretions might have been, when it comes to working things out, it sounds like the youngest Kardashian-Jenner had little choice in the matter. TMZ reports she received “pressure from the Kardashians” to call it quits.
Adding insult to injury, Thursday happened to be Tyga’s 26th birthday. He celebrated at 1OAK in Hollywood with stars like A$AP Rocky and Jamie Foxx, and when his reality star girlfriend failed to attend, fans knew something was up.
Actually, Kylie didn’t even wish the rapper happy birthday on social media — or mention him at all — and her sister Kendall Jenner shared an Instagram of herself giving the middle finger:
