APC National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is to be specially honoured with the prestigious award as "Pillar of Art and Culture in Africa" by the African Union Commission (AUC) at the All Africa Music Awards, AFRIMA 2015, scheduled to hold on Sunday, November 15, 2015 at Eko Hotel & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria.

The International Committee of AFRIMA made this known in Lagos during the ceremony of revealing the activities of the award ceremony.

Air Force jets bomb Boko Haram’s vehicles, others in Sambisa forest

                              
BOKO Haram’s vehicle workshops, fuel and ammunition dumps in Sambisa forest have been bombed by the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) jets.

A statement by NAF’s Director of Public Relations & Information, Air Commodore Dele Alonge, which made this known yesterday, gave an assurance that the latest air strikes have increased the possibility of ending insurgency in the Northeast.

NAF attributed the success of its air strikes to expert use of drones and the ATR-42 aerial surveillance aircraft.

Police Arrest Four Fake Soldiers In Lagos

                               
Four fake soldiers have been arrested at Idi-Araba, Agege and Mile 2 areas of Lagos state.

he Nation reports that the fake soldiers were paraded by Fatai Owoseni, the commissioner of the police, on Tuesday, October 27.

According to the police, the suspects are 25-year old John Izunwanne, 23-year-old John Otu, 22-year-old Richard Acha, and 39-year-old Simon Anthony.

Wenger Strongly Criticizes Arsenal Stars After Shameful Defeat

             
The manager of Arsenal, Arsene Wenger, has criticised his club after 3-0 lost to Sheffield Wednesday in the League Cup. 

After the match, where two key gunners (Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Theo Walcott) were injured, the French was  highly critical of his side.

It is important to note that Arsenal suffer their biggest defeat to lower-league opposition since 1959.

Olamide and his team played at a concert at the Troxy in the UK over the weekend. The gig went down on October 25 and the reception was impressive.

Sometime in July it was announced that the YBNL honcho and other label artistes would be playing at a concert in London. It was billed to host fans to live performances from Lil Kesh, Adekunle Gold and more.

His Ghost Mode collaborator Phyno also went on stage to perform the single Ladi.

The gig was hosted by radio presenter Dotun Kayode. It was put together by Smade Entertainment.
