The Yoruba movie industry within Nollywood is growing bigger and better by the day, and  the genre accords due recognition to the actors in this field.
During the recent 2014 Yoruba Movie Academy Awards (YMAA) which held at the Civic Centre in Ibadan, Oyo State, actress, Fathia Balogun, and her male counterpart, Odunlade Adekola, went home with the Best Actress and Actor awards respectively.


According to a report, Fathia’s ex-husband, Saidi Balogun, stormed out of the venue of the event after losing the Best Director award to Niji Akanni, who directed the movie ‘Aramotu’.
