Why Jonathan’s administration must go – Oshiomhole

               

Edo state governor Adams Oshiomhole yesterday declared that the President Goodluck Jonathan’s administration has killed many Edo indigenes due to the alleged refusal by the President to give ecological funds to areas devastated by erosion in the state and many other APC states.

He regretted that the President would play partisan politics with the lives of Nigerians and Edo people in particularly despite the 95 per cent votes he enjoyed in the state in 2011, vowing that the President and his party the PDP, would be voted out come 2015. Oshiomhole also lampooned the Federal government austerity measures due to fallen prices oil, querying that “ what did they do with our money when oil was N108 per barrel. They said we should tighten our belt but they gave us no belt, that is anti people”. Continue...

Buhari tells Nigerians: be prepared for 2015 elections

A presidential aspirant on the platform of the party, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, stated this yesterday at the second term inauguration of Governor Rauf Aregbesola in Osogbo, the state capital. Gen Buhari told a large ecstatic crowd that attended the ceremony at the Osogbo Mini Stadium that after the “disaster in Ekiti and Adamawa states (where the party lost governorship seats), the victory in Osun State boosted the APC’s morale.

 “We must work hard for victory in 2015. God helps those who help themselves,” he told the massive crowd of party supporters and ordinary folks. APC National Leader Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who sang and danced on the podium, saluted the people for “standing firm”. Tinubu said: “They abused you; you resolved to stand firm. So, today I congratulate you. I charge you students to take your destiny in your hands. What started here (Osun) is called ‘Common Sense Revolution’.

DNA result reveals two of Femi Kuti's five children are not his

            
Afrobeat king, Femi Kuti says he recently found out that two out of the 5 children he always thought were his, weren't. In an interview with Encomium mag, Femi said a DNA test conducted on a boy and a girl named Tosin and Dupe who were born after his first son, Made, showed he's not their biological father.

"I did a DNA test and was told two of the children are not mine. The first two (after Made), a boy and a girl. It is very serious. I never knew somebody could give you what is not yours. I’ve three boys now. I can’t father children I was tricked to believe I am their father,” he said

Femi says he has since returned the children to their mothers.

The 'French Kim Kardashian' reality TV star facing 30 years in prison for trying to murder her fiancée once warned: 'If I caught my guy cheating on me, I would stab him with a knife'.

It is part of a grim catalogue of evidence which could be used to end the showbusiness career of Nabilla Benattia.

The 22-year-old is currently on remand in solitary confinement inside a women's jail in Versailles, west of Paris, after being refused bail.

Nabilla is under investigation for the attempted murder of Thomas Vergara, 28, at an apartment hotel in nearby Boulogne-Billancourt.

She has emphatically denied being 'consumed by jealousy and sexual aggression' as she allegedly plunged a knife into her lover's chest earlier this month. Continue.....
