Obafemi Martins Visits The New Ooni Of Ife, Interacts With Him In His Palace.

Nigeria Obafemi Martins, and Seattle Sounders striker, visited Adeyeye Adewusi, the newly crowned Ooni of Ife at his palace on Friday. Martins posted a footage of his meeting with the monarch on social network. He is seen sitting on bare floor right next to Adewusi, with the king offering him what seemed like advice. According to online reports, this young man was a victim of an armed robbery attack this afternoon at Agip by Ada George Junction in Port-Harcourt. He was reportedly hit by a stray bullet. The robbery left 2 dead and 1 injured, according to sources.

Biafra War: Obasanjo Warns Nigerians Of Second Biafra War

                              
Following speculation of a second Biafra war, ex-Nigerian president Olusegun Obasanjo, has asked Nigerians to understand the need to embrace peace and dialogue instead of beating drums of war.

In a recent dialogue with pressmen, the former general stressed that there is a need for better communication, other than gunning for  another round of civil war.

Reacting to the spate of protests and demonstrations by pro-Biafra agitators in some parts of the southeast and Lagos recently, he said: “Our differences could only be addressed when issues are discussed instead of going to war”.
