Rihanna was almost unrecognisable as she stepped out in New York's Soho neighbourhood on Thursday, rocking a far less glamorous style than usual.
The superstar looked downright dowdy as she covered up against the apparent chill, her long sleekly styled raven tresses being blown about in the wind, partially obscuring her pretty face.

And on Sunday night, Rihanna busted out another heavy coat as she headed out in Malibu, Los Angeles.

She's the proud owner of what must be the most talked about bottom in showbusiness, so it's no surprise that Kim Kardashian's husband Kanye West wants to mark his territory.

The 33-year-old posted a picture Saturday of her and Kanye walking down a set of stairs holding on to one another in Paris, where they have been attending fashion week.

As they made their way down the stairs, Kanye, 37, placed a firm hand on Kim's derriere, while she held onto his shoulder.
It appears Kanye wants to show the world that his wife's most photographed asset is his and his alone.
Kim of course isn't shy about showing off her voluptuous curves and displaying her ample derriere for all to see and she certainly has her share of admirers.

Another church building collapses in Edo state

                                      
Barely a week after a building belonging to Christ Chosen Church of God collapsed in Edo state killing three people, another church building has collapsed in the state.

A building belonging to Liberty Power Bible Church a.k.a Power Palace at Asoro Slope, off Ekenwan Road in Benin city, Edo state, collapsed yesterday September 28th. 

According to reports, the incident happened shortly after members of the church left the building after the close of service. No life was lost.

Senate approves GEJ's $1billion loan to fight Boko Haram

                       

The Senate has approved the $1billion (N165bn) loan requested by President Jonathan in July to help in the fight against terrorism and tackle insecurity in the country. The loan would be used for the purchase of military equipment and the training of military personnel.

The loan approved will be in addition to the N968.127bn voted for Defence in the 2014 budget by the federal government.

Jonathan seeks urgent UN reforms against insecurity

        

President Goodluck Jonathan on Wednesday maintained that pressing challenges to global peace and security have made it imperative that urgent action be taken on the reformation of United Nations Security Council.

He made the call while delivering Nigeria’s annual statement to the United Nations General Assembly, in New York, United States of America.

In a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Dr. Reuben Abati, President Jonathan also called for an urgent review of United Nations peacekeeping operations across the world.

He sad: “Mr. President, the failure of unanimity of action by the Security Council over pressing challenges to global peace and security, in Syria, Iraq, the conflict in Ukraine, and the renewed aggression between Israel and Palestine, have strengthened the case for the reform of the Security Council.”

“Today’s challenges can only be resolved by a Security Council whose working methods engender transparency, inclusivity, and common ownership through equitable representation of all regions in the decision making process of the Council.”
